Endeavor Italy's Entrepreneurs From its launch to May 2018, Endeavor Italy has met and screened 1,000 entrepreneurs with 17 of them selected into the network. These high-potential entrepreneurs come from different backgrounds and their companies operate in a wide variety of sectors, but they share the same drive to successfully scale their businesses, tangibly impact their communities, and contribute to Italian economic development. Over the last two years, Endeavor Italy has focused on helping the selected founders define and execute their growth and expansion strategies. In particular, it has surrounded them with peer entrepreneurs, board members, and mentors who have been instrumental in acquiring valuable competencies, pursuing new business opportunities, and exploring new markets and verticals. Moreover, Endeavor Italy has provided its entrepreneurs with investment advisors' support to prepare and coach them through fundraising rounds, with Endeavor Catalyst co-investing in five companies. While benefiting from a preferred access to talent, markets, and capital ensured by Endeavor's infrastructure, the selected entrepreneurs have shown their commitment to contributing to its network. For example, they have served as mentors to other Endeavor Entrepreneurs interested in entering the Italian market, actively shared experiences and knowledge with fellow founders, and helped Endeavor Italy increase the network's visibility on the local scene. 13 COMPANIES IT'S UNANIMOUS 17 entrepreneurs from 13 companies received unanimous support at an ISP and entered into the network. 23 INTERNATIONAL SELECTION PANELS Global business leaders interview candidates, deliberate, and select a new class of Endeavor Entrepreneurs by unanimous vote. 51 LOCAL SELECTION PANELS 10-15 local mentors and board members interview, deliberate, and select candidates for an international panel. 144 SECOND OPINION REVIEWS Senior-level Endeavor mentors and network members conduct multiple interviews with each candidate to review their high-impact potential. 368 FIRST OPINION REVIEWS Endeavor staff conduct a one-hour interview to assess the candidate's viability. 1045 SCREENING & INITIAL REVIEW Endeavor staff assess candidate's application and conduct preliminary research to determine whether to interview candidate. 21
