D-Orbit in a nutshell D-Orbit is a service provider for the traditional and new space sectors, with capabilities in satellite manufacturing, launch, deployment, satellite operations, end-of-life strategies and solutions, space propulsion and related critical software. Its products and services cover the entire lifecycle of a space mission, including mission analysis and design, engineering, manufacturing, integration, testing, launch, and end-of-life decommissioning. Luca aims for the stars not only when he works on new, advanced satellite solutions but also when it comes to scaling up his business. In 2017, the company was selected for the EY Vantage Program, with an EY senior advisor cooperating with Luca and his team to overhaul sales and marketing strategies. One year later, D-Orbit entered the EY Growth Navigator program aiming to assess and improve the capability to deliver its growth plans. The twelve-month project focuses on: accelerating the digitization of D-Orbit's business processes; designing proper surveys to gather and evaluate customer feedback in order to review service quality and drive improvement actions; developing employee compensation and benefits packages to attract, motivate, and retain talented human resources. Besides specific programs and initiatives, the Endeavor network is a source of constant inspiration for the D-Orbit team, allowing them to share their experiences and day-to-day challenges with like- minded entrepreneurs. "Endeavor has given us invaluable expertise that would be costly to acquire purely by trial and error." 25
