9 CAROLINA STEIN Equifax Argentina CRISTIAN SULZER Equifax Mexico Carolina joined Equifax in 2008, after years of experience in statistical modeling, portfolio management and business intelligence. As Project Manager for the International Analytics Team, she led advanced analytics projects for customers in Europe, India, Canada and Latin America. In her current role as VP of Data, she supports the implementation of big data platforms, data strategies and innovation capabilities in different regions. Prior to joining Equifax, Carolina worked in the banking and financial sector in Argentina and Mexico. She holds a B.A in Economics and an B.A in Busines Administration, both from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cristian joined Equifax in 2013 based in Chile, and has held various leadership roles in strategy, innovation and product. He currently serves as Director of Marketing in Mexico, where he is responsible for developing new product lines, increasing commercial channels and identifying new partnerships that can generate value for Equifax's portfolio of clients. JONATHAN WHITTLE Quona Capital United States DANIEL VOGEL Bitso Mexico Jonathan Whittle focuses on Quona's Latin America investments. Before co-founding Quona, Jonathan was a Managing Director of Accion Frontier Investments. Jonathan is an experienced entrepreneur, having co-founded and scaled three technology start-ups, and a venture capital investor with over nine years of experience managing a venture technology portfolio. Prior to joining Accion Frontier Investments in 2014, Jonathan was the co-founder and CEO of Acesso Pagamentos, a prepaid service provider focused on the underbanked population in Brazil. Before that, Jonathan served as a Principal at Darby Overseas Investments, Ltd in Washington, D.C. where he managed Darby Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture fund focused on Latin America. He joined Darby in 2002 after a decade of experience with venture capital- backed telecommunications and information technology services start-ups in Latin America. Launching Mexico's first digital currency exchange via an online platform, Bitso's cofounders have developed a system based on blockchain technology, which allows for fiat (national currency) to digital currency exchanges (and vice-versa) and worldwide money transfers. Operating in a US$3.7B Mexican fintech market, Bitso boasts an impressive number of B2C clients and partners with businesses as well, which use its technological infrastructure to send and receive payments from end-users in Mexico. Working to fix Mexico's financial inclusion problem, Bitso looks to grow international transfers, including remittances, which represent Mexico's most important source for capital inflows at US$28B per year.
