2 1 S P OT LI G H T: T WI G A FO O DS in Kenya in 2014, Twiga Foods is replacing informal markets by giving vendors simple, convenient ordering platforms to purchase their stock, and providing farmers with fair, predictable pricing for their crops. As a result, farmers can count on a steady stream of income, empowering them to grow their business. "I feel like Twiga is invested in helping me succeed. With the brokers (pre-Twiga) the price was low, and they would just take the produce and go. Twiga knows that if they help me do better, they do better. I'm getting all the experience I need to be successful in the future right here at Twiga." MOSES OCHIENG, INTAKE AND PROCESSING LEAD
