MOROCCO PERU K A M AL REGGAD, founder of Menaclick, was the only Moroccan entrepreneur to be recognized on the Forbes magazine list of the top 100 Startups in the Arab World, which featured www.Hmizates. ma, one of the company's e-commerce websites. ENDE AVOR MOROCCO partnered with Gazelles Al Maghreb, a Middle East Partner Initiative- funded program working to support Moroccan companies with high potential of growth. The program provides two weeks of technical assistance to entrepre- neurs during which senior local and international experts work with Endeavor Entrepreneurs to tackle their financial and marketing challenges. TARIK FADLI , founder of Algo Consulting Group, was appointed by the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment, and the Digital Economy as a Board Member and Expert Advisor of the Morocco Agency for Digital Development (ADD). The ADD aims to to accelerate the digital transformation of the national economy. y ZINEB MIDAFI , cofounder of Virtual Building Solution, signed a technology part- nership with Microsoft to support digital transfor- mation in the construction industry. This alliance is the culmination of strategic thinking to support the digital transformation of building and digitali- zation of the real estate heritage industry. p STARTUP PERU selected two Endeavor Entrepreneurs as winners of the High Impact Company and Dynamic Ventures awards. SeguroSimple, an online insurance broker founded by Nicolás Droguett (above), won over $150,000 and Latin Fintech, a micro-loan fintech founded by Juan Antonio Cabanas, Javier Castro and Jorge Del Carpio won over $40,000. XERTIC A , the leading cloud consulting company in Latin America led by Luis Arbulú, Saul Chrem, and Antonio Couttolenc, became the first company in Peru to receive investment from Endeavor Catalyst in its Series A funding round. ENDE AVOR PERU brought together more than 200 people to discover the value of entrepreneurship and angel investing at its inaugural Endeavor Inspire event. Speakers included global Endeavor mentor Patrick McGinnis, as well as over 10 budding entrepreneurs in Peru's Scale-Up program and partner accelerators. THE PERUVIAN INVE STOR NET WORK grew to over 400 members, and after one year, has connected 20+ entrepreneurs with potential investors leading to nearly $1 million of investment to five companies. The associ- ated Scale-Up program provided workshops and local mentoring to 16 promising tech startups.
