To recognize their growth and impact within
the Miami entrepreneurial ecosystem,
Endeavor Miami honored two of its companies
with the first ever local "Endeavor Entrepreneur
of the Year" Award during its Annual Gala held
on November 10th, 2018. Sam Gorenstein and
Roger Duarte from MyCeviche were recognized
as winners in the brick-and-mortar space; on
the technology side, Jaclyn Baumgarten and
Andrew Sturner from Boatsetter were the
recipients.

The award is a staple in several Endeavor
affiliates across the world but this marks the
first time the award is handed out in a US
office.
The winners were selected by an Endeavor
Miami Board committee following criteria
designed by Bain which measured Endeavor
Entrepreneurs selected at least one year ago,
across different dimensions:
• Revenue growth since selection
• Job growth since selection
• Market validation
• Ecosystem impact
