I M P A C T R E P O R T 2 0 1 7 / 2 0 1 8 Daniel is a serial entrepreneur who served as co-founder of several companies such as Internest Tech & Par, Direct Talk and Scup. Before joining W12, he served as General Manager of Sprinklr. What is the best advice you would give to a company looking to scale? Focus! You can't scale if you're going everywhere for everyone in different ways, so focus on a value proposition for a customer set, with a business model. What is the relationship between company culture and business success? It's a direct relationship, you can't have business success with a broken culture as it will undermine everything you try to accomplish. So culture first, business success follows. Why did you decide to become a mentor with Endeavor Miami? I've been involved with Endeavor since the early days in 2000s when I was living and working in São Paulo-Brazil. My first ISP as a panelist was in 2009. I happened to move to Miami in 2013 at the same time Endeavor was opening up its operation, it was only natural to continue the work here in Miami. What have you enjoyed the most throughout your time as a mentor? The relationships with the entrepreneurs, fellow mentors and the Endeavor team. To learn with so many different people, distinct narratives and amazing success stories is a very fulfilling experience. I N T E R I M C F O A T W 1 2 DANIEL HEISE endeavormiami.org
