15 F O U N D AT I O N C A P I TA L LI SUN Li Sun is a Partner at Foundation Capital. Foundation focuses on enterprise software, consumer and deep tech startups. Notable exits include Netflix, Lending Club, and Chegg. Li comes from a deep tech background across electrical engineering, materials science, physics and biotech, and holds a PhD in applied physics with an application in biotech. She is mostly interested in AI enabled applications and services as well as disruptive technologies that solve the world's most critical problems and/or change paradigms. F T V C A P I TA L ADAM HALLQUIST Adam Hallquist is a Vice President in FTV's San Francisco office, where is he focused on investments in financial services and payments and transaction processing. He is actively involved with several portfolio companies including Clearent, Credorax, Riskalyze, and VPay. Prior to joining FTV, Adam was an investment banking analyst at Financial Technology Partners, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the payments, securities and software spaces. Adam began his career at Fortress Group, an investment bank focused on the private placement of private equity funds. Adam received a BBA with a concentration in finance and a second major in economics from Emory University. F T V C A P I TA L K AROLINA POVEDYCH Karolina is an investor on the Enterprise Technology & Services team at FTV Capital. Prior to joining FTV, Karolina worked in the technology mergers & acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. At Lazard, Karolina advised companies in the enterprise software and internet verticals. Prior to Lazard, Karolina worked in the industrials group at Deutsche Bank. Karolina graduated from Duke University. F O R D M O T O R C O M P A N Y SAI YAGNYAMURTHY Sai is the Head of Partnerships & Digital Sales at Ford Motor Company. He focuses on driving partnerships across technology, product and services for Ford. He was previously the Director of Corporate Strategy at Ford Motor Company where he lead strategy development, execution and investment thesis for future of automotive services ranging telematics, autonomous, urban mobility and digital services. He is passionate about intersection of key technologies like AI, Machine learning, Digital assistants, IoT and wireless that enable this transformation. Before joining Ford, Sai was a Director of Corporate Strategy at Verizon. He executed strategies and led acquisitions to the tune of $10B between 2012 and 2016. Sai has a Master's degree from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
