21 Q U A L C O M M V E N T U R E S ALEXANDRE VILLELA Alex Villela is a Managing Director at Qualcomm Ventures and oversees investments in Latin America. Alex also focuses on Digital Enterprise, Datacenter and Networking sector deals in the US. Prior to Qualcomm Ventures, Alex was an investment director at Intel Capital, responsible for global equity investments in Networking & Communications. Before Intel Capital, Alex worked for Stratus Investimentos, a middle-market focused Private Equity firm based in Brazil, and was a General Manager for Procurement and Product Development at Gradiente EletrĂ´nica. Alex holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP and has earned his MBA from INSEAD. Q U O N A C A P I TA L TRAVIS FOXHALL Travis Foxhall is an investor with emerging markets fintech fund Quona Capital, where he leads deal sourcing and due diligence for their Latin America portfolio. Prior to joining Quona, Travis worked in corporate strategy roles with JPMorgan Chase and Thomson Reuters in New York. In both roles, he worked on internal consulting engagements for senior management, with a focus on financial technology and innovation. P R O P E L V E N T U R E P A R T N E R S K ATHLEEN SISWANTO Kathleen focuses on investments that empower communities through marketplaces, payments, digitization platforms, and emerging technologies. She's particularly interested in opportunities in conversational AI, blockchain, and frontier tech. Prior to Propel, Kathleen worked on M&A and capital markets transactions in the investment banking group at Citigroup. A Los Angeles native, Kathleen earned a B.S. in business administration with honors, in addition to a B.A. in biological sciences, from the University of Southern California. P R O P E L V E N T U R E P A R T N E R S JAY REINEMANN As a partner at Propel Venture Partners, Jay invests in early-stage companies that are leveraging technology to transform financial services. He has led investments in Neon, Coinbase, DocuSign, Conekta and Personal Capital, among others. Before BBVA spun off the fund and became a limited partner, Jay led BBVA Ventures and the global bank's acquisition of Simple.
