I am an avid outdoors and nature person, but with an engineering background, working in ICT. I think my dream is to one day find a way to combine all of these interests! Building or creating things has always been a passion of mine, and this fits in very well with starting and scaling a business. I am very analytical, but not scared to make difficult and sometimes hard decisions – even with little information available. I easily shift between focusing on either the big picture or the finer details as the situation requires. Achieving success and providing for my family is what gets me out of bed in the morning, which is why setting goals to drive growth is what motivates me – both in my personal and professional life. I'm driven by strong ethics, and my word is tremendously important. I will stick to an agreement no matter what! I also excel at understanding people's strengths and use this to ensure they achieve success in their endeavors. In a nutshell, the engineer in me is analytical and calculated. But when it comes to what I consider to be two of my core strengths, I'd have to say they are loyalty and trust. I'm a first-time entrepreneur, founder & CEO of ComparaOnline. I was born in Sao Paulo but grew up in Santiago, Chile, my dad family is from Argentina, but in the end, I'm a Chilean by heart. In 2008 while I was graduating from Structural Engineering, I started ComparaOnline. I was passionate about my career, but I was even more passionate about the idea of being a tech entrepreneur. This startup was my first job, so I have had to learn many new things over these years! ComparaOnline is the leading marketplace for financial products in LATAM, we offer our customers transparency when choosing financial products, by easily comparing all offers in the market and allowing for purchases 24x7. ComparaOnline is focused on building a trusted brand with consumers and becoming a destination platform for people looking for information and prices on multiple financial products like car insurance, travel insurance, credit cards and others. The company has a team of more than 300 people with headquarters in Santiago and two other offices in Sao Paulo and Medellin. In 2012 I was elected Endeavor Entrepreneur. Since then we have managed to raise more than USD $33 million in funding from world- class venture capital firms. If I could spend the rest of my life solving one problem, it would be; use technology to offer people transparency when choosing financial products. I am relentless in my pursuit of the future.
