14 V E R T E X V E N T U R E S S E A JESSICA KOH Jessica joined Vertex as an Investment Associate in 2018 and is part of the team focusing on opportunities in SEA. Prior to Vertex, Jessica started her career in venture capital as an investment associate at Silicon Valley-based FoundersX Ventures in 2016, where she performed market research on frontier tech sectors and vetted early-stage startup investments. She later completed a stint with 500 Startups where she focused on venture investment and fundraising. Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from National University of Singapore. S E Q U O I A C A P I TA L PIETER KEMPS Pieter joined Sequoia in 2014 and advises on investments across Consumer Internet, Fintech and Software companies in Southeast Asia. He currently serves on the Board of Fave, Nugit, Funding Societies, 90 Seconds, HealthEngine, and Insider and also works closely with Online Pajak, Cardup, Circles and Trusting Social. Having lived and worked in Amsterdam, Madrid, and Tokyo, Pieter currently resides in Singapore with his wife and two daughters. He holds an MBA (High Honors) from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital. S T T E L E M E D I A TOMITHY TOO Tomithy is an Invesment Manager at ST Telemedia, which invest across Telcos, Data Centres and growth stage tech companies in the Artificial Intelligence/Big data, Cybersecurity and Cloud technology space. As the key technology lead, Tomithy actively works with exisiting and prospective portfolio companies on their technical diligence and business strategy. Tomithy is trained in computational biology and is self-taught for programming and artificial intelligence. He has a particular interest in applying evolutionary algorithm to games playing AI. Tomithy holds a BS in Computational Biology from the National University of Singapore. S A I S O N C A P I TA L CHRIS SIRISEREEPAPH Chris is a Partner at Saison Capital. He has spent the last 7 years in a mixture of VC and operating roles. Prior to Saison, Chris spent time at Grab Financial Services, SPH Ventures, and Enterprise Singapore. He is a big believer in financial inclusion and job creation as major points of impact to uplift a society. Chris is a graduate of National University of Singapore where he studied Chemical and Bimolecular Engineering.
