17 C R E D I T E A S E NING TANG Founder & CEO Ning Tang pioneered marketplace lending in China when he founded CreditEase, a peer-to- peer lending firm, in 2006. Tang has over 10 years experience in the field of microfinance. Earlier in his career, Tang worked for DLJ Investment Bank in Wall Street and was engaged in IPOs, bond issuances, and mergers and acquisitions services for finance, telecommunications, media and technology companies. During his college career, Tang also travelled and lived in Bangladesh to study the poverty alleviation strategies adopted by Professor Mohamed Yunus of the Grameen Bank. He is a member of Tsinghua University China Entrepreneur Training Program's Advisory Committee, an advisor to Peking University Social Entrepreneurship Training Program, and head of the China Association of Microfinance's strategy committee. Tang graduated with a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Peking University and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. C H I N A C R E AT I O N V E N T U R E S WEI ZHOU Founder & Managing Partner Wei Zhou is the Founder and Managing Partner of China Creation Ventures (CCV). Prior to launching CCV, Wei was Managing Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers (KPCB) China and led its TMT investment group, where he backed companies like JD.com (NASDAQ IPO: JD), VenusTech (Shenzhen IPO: 002439), CreditEase (NYSE: YRD), and KJY Water (NEEQ: 835159), among others. Wei was also previously the CEO of Shanghai Hanbo Tech Co., a leading e-payment solution provider that was later acquired. Prior to that, Wei was the youngest executive at Start Computer Group (SH: 600734), where he started as a regional operation leader and worked his way up to becoming the supervisor of the entire e-payment ecosystem and corporate M&A. Wei holds an M.B.A. from Wharton and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. C R E D I T E A S E BINGZE GU Director Bingze Gu joined CreditEase in February 2016. Since joining CreditEase, Bingze has led many Creditech and WealthTech deals in the US and China, including Blast, Ellevest, Circle, Fundbox, Cross River Bank, 100 Credit and more. Prior to CreditEase, Bingze worked at Needham & Co as an investment banker, where he was responsible for IPO & M&A activities in the TMT sector, such as Yirendai's IPO, the acquisition of Integrated Silicon Solution by a Chinese consortium, and PMC-Sierra's $2bn acquisition. Prior to that, Bingze worked in the asset management and venture capital industry at various firms including Goldman Sachs and DoubleRock VC. Bingze holds Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. G G V CHAO LUO Vice President Chao Luo is focused on enterprise software, hardware applications and investment in smart cities. Prior to joining GGV, Chao was the Co-founder and CSO of Laiye, an artificial intelligence platform for the enterprise. Prior to Laiye, Chao spent time at Tencent Investment, Bain & Company where he participated in over 20 investment and M&A transactions in the internet and technology sectors. Chao received a BS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan.
