Chris advises technology companies in venture capital transactions, public offerings and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He regularly advises high technology (particularly Internet and computer software and hardware) companies with respect to their international business operations and transactions, as well as investment banks, venture capital firms and other financial intermediaries that serve technology companies. Chris joined Orrick in 2008. Before joining Orrick, he was a co-founder of the London office of Heller Ehrman and a member of the Venture Law Group at that firm. Prior to that, he was a partner at WilmerHale in London and a partner at Brobeck Hale and Dorr, the joint venture between Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and Hale and Dorr. MELIH ÖDEMIŞ Melih Ödemiş is one of the pioneering internet entrepreneurs in Turkey. Born in Istanbul, he studied Computer Engineering and received an MBA from Bosphorus University. After one year of professional experience at Citibank, Melih co-founded Yemeksepeti.com with his partners in 2000. Yemeksepeti is an online food delivery giant in Turkey, the UAE (foodonclick.com), and Russia (izrastorana.ru). He served as the company's CTO for 13 years. Melih was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2007 and has since been actively engaged with the Endeavor ecosystem as a mentor and angel investor in Internet and technology companies. After the exit of Yemeksepeti to Delivery Hero in 2015 for a record breaking $589M (which was the largest Internet exit in Turkish history), Melih shifted his focus to nurturing his 30+ active portfolio companies. He is currently based in London.
