7 INVESTORS A C T I S ADRIAN MUCALOV Adrian joined Actis in 2009 and is a Partner responsible for originating & managing investments for the Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund (ALLIF). He serves on ALLIF's Investment Committee. Within Actis, Adrian has extensive experience in electricity distribution (Guatemala, Cameroon, Uganda) and power generation (renewables & gas across Africa, Chile, Brazil, India). Prior to Actis, Adrian worked as Director of International Expansion at Endeavor Global and as a consultant with Monitor Group. Adrian holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, MPA/ID degree from Harvard Kennedy School, and is a CFA charterholder. A F R I C I N V E S T OMAR LAALEJ Omar is a Director co-leading the new Cathay AfricInvest Innovation Fund. Since joining AfricInvest in 2015, Omar contributed to the closing of 10 transactions with total committed capital exceeding $160M in value, including 3 exits. Omar was also part of the AfricInvest team that initiated the first economic studies related to early stage investments in Africa with the goal of launching an Innovation Fund with African DNA. A M A D E U S C A P I TA L P A R T N E R S ANDREA TRAVERSONE Andrea has been with Amadeus Capital Partners since 1998. Andrea leads the Amadeus Digital Prosperity Fund investment activities and his current investment focus is on the mobile sector. Andrea serves on the boards of Igenomix, the in-vitro fertilization genetic testing company; Travelstart, an online travel agency in Africa and the Middle East; and ip.access, a supplier of picocell and femtocell base stations for 2G and 3G coverage and capacity. Andrea's successes at Amadeus include Octo Telematics, acquired in 2014 by Renova Group, representing one of the most significant exits worldwide in the Internet of Things space, and Bellco, a leading innovator in haemo-dialysis and blood-filtration, acquired in 2016 by Medtronic.
