4 SPEAKERS B A I N C A P I TA L V E N T U R E S ENRIQUE SALEM Partner Enrique Salem joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2014, where he focuses on infrastructure software and services with a specialization in cybersecurity. Enrique was previously the President and CEO of Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) and brings more than 27 years of executive experience in technology and security. Before Symantec, he was President and CEO of Brightmail, the leading anti-spam software company acquired by Symantec in 2004. Enrique served on President Barack Obama's Management Advisory Board. He currently serves on the boards of several portfolio companies, including DocuSign, and serves independently on the boards of FireEye, Atlassian and ForeScout. Enrique was named 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and 2007 Corporate Executive of the Year by Hispanic Net. T W I L I O S E N D G R I D SAMEER DHOLAKIA CEO Sameer Dholakia is the CEO of SendGrid. He joined the organization in 2014 and led Sendgrid through a successful IPO and later acquisition by Twilio at a transaction valued at approximately $2B. Sameer has over 20 years of experience in successfully bringing high growth, disruptive cloud and enterprise software solutions to market. Prior to joining SendGrid, he served as Group Vice President and General Manager of the Cloud Platforms group at Citrix, driving the company's product strategy for cloud infrastructure and server virtualization. Sameer joined the company in 2010, when Citrix acquired VMLogix, where he served as CEO and doubled revenues during each year of his tenure. Prior to that, he worked for 12 years at Trilogy, where he held key leadership roles in sales, business development and product management and helped the company grow from a start-up to a $300 million business.
