#21 FI 5.4 Elma Farms, founded in 2008 by Antonio Ellek and Cetin Amato, is a healthy snacks company providing 100% shelf stable all natural snacks. Its two brands, Dipin and POSHI, are present in over 15 countries, mainly in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, with operations in Florida and New Jersey and two subsidiaries in Canada and Turkey. Elma Farms is committed to providing quality healthy food accessible to consumers looking for healthy lifestyles. POSHI brand has four significant impacts: 1. Offering customers the ability to consume more minimally processed vegetables and snacks. 2. Expand their consumers' range of vegetable selection and consumption. 3. Encourage customers to move towards pouches instead of cans and jars, which decrease emissions through less transportation and materials recycled. 4. Source ingredients from sustainable farms. The growth of POSHI will drive investment and more job creation in the next few months, of which the effects will be captured in early 2020. The biggest impact Elma Farms has created has been through the POSHI Brand and products. POSHI was launched in March of 2019, becoming the leading steamed and marinated vegetables snacks in pouches. Encompass is innovating the $70B facility services industry by providing a digital and physical platform that connects teams of service experts with building owners in need of coordinated, programmatic and cost-effective facility services. What began as a service business helping customers improve the appearance of their properties has since become something much more. Today, Encompass keeps spaces and places ready so millions of people can live their best life. Founded by Marcell Haywood, Encompass is the go-to provider of outsourced facility services for many of the world's most recognizable companies. The Encompass technology and services platform now programmatically provides over 3,500 US customer locations with the services they need, wrapped in deep analytics that drive each customer's competitiveness and profitability. The company's impact now spans tens of millions of building occupants, thousands of service professionals and has one of the nation's most robust digital and physical platforms for facility services. Not only is Encompass seen as a leader in the realm of job creation, but its focus on people innovation is just as significant as the technological innovation it has brought to market. Locally, Encompass has partnered with Miami Dade College to create the Service Professionals Scholarship Fund specifically designed to equip technical workers with 'level up' skills required to predictably advance their careers by increasing the economic value added to any customer location. The result of this program is higher wage compensation for professionals on the Encompass platform and significantly higher value driven back to customer sites. As it continues to scale its business across the US, the Encompass platform will continue to add jobs and economic impact to each of the communities it operates within.
