TISSINI, founded by Sion Tesone in 2015, is a for-profit social
enterprise that addresses the need of underprivileged U.S.
Hispanic women to earn extra income to provide for their
families. It is a single-level direct sales (DS) company that
seeks to develop close relationships with its client base (called
Emprendedoras) and support them through their sales process.
The model focuses on selling exclusive, quality products to the
Emprendedoras' natural social network, rather than focusing
on recruiting distributors to develop a vertical network.
TISSINI has created income opportunities
for over 13,000 Hispanic women.
