#35 Founded by Robert Rubin, SkyPatrol builds innovative software tools uniquely combined with its proprietary GPS hardware and firmware to help businesses monitor, protect and optimize mobile assets in an increasingly machine-to- machine world. SkyPatrol serves many markets including fleet management, mobile asset tracking, power sports and parolee management solutions. The software company is a global leader in integrated GPS tracking solutions on a wide variety of platforms including cellular networks and dual mode satellite devices, serving customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia. SkyPatrol's new truck lock incorporated with GPS is targeting the reduction of cargo theft, a significant issue in Latin America. This product requires a pre-authorized person to validate his or her biometrics through facial recognition, which will allow the lock to be opened and access to the cargo. SkyPatrol is also introducing an artificial intelligence camera system that augments their current GPS product for tracking vehicles. The system has dual video cameras that deploys collision avoidance technology and distracted driver technology to improve driver safety. This past year, SkyPatrol technology was used to improve customer service and reduce operating costs for thousands of customers through its data analytics captured through SkyPatrol platforms. The technology has also recovered many stolen assets and was successfully used in several criminal cases to assist prosecutors to obtain convictions. "We are continuing to drive innovation in our industry. We have introduced two new, state of the art products in 2019 that we expect to have significant impact on our sales in the near future." Robert Rubin, Founder & CEO Year Selected // 2015 Industry // Enterprise Software Year Selected // 2013 Industry // Food & Beverage MyCeviche, co-founded by Roger Duarte, was established in March 2012 with the objective of being the premier fast-casual purveyor of fresh seafood in the form of ceviches, tacos, burritos, stone crabs, and salads. MyCeviche is part of Hospitality Capital Partners "HCP". HCP works to create a consortium of the most appealing fast-casual brands to the consumer by providing a unique experience to the consumer. HCP is currently in 10 locations with 3 brands across Miami, outperforming the typical low-quality, unhealthy food establishments in flavor, quality, and price. Each HCP location is tailored to fit its surroundings. Local artists often collaborate with the brand on store designs in an effort to avoid a "cookie cutter" feel of a 1,000-plus-location brand. "W hen we build a restaurant, we really want to understand the community that we operate in and want to make an impact," Duarte says. "We can do this internally through job creation and externally by working with organizations around the community." FI 5.11
