5 K I N G S W AY AFONSO CAMPOS Afonso is a partner at Kingsway, where he leads the firm's technology investments in Frontier/ Emerging Markets. Before Kingsway, he worked at Barclays Capital in their research and sales & trading departments. Prior to that, Afonso read Physics at Imperial College London. I N V U S DAVID K AHANE David is currently a Partner at Invus Opportunities, a global growth equity firm connected with the Invus Group. The Invus Group is an evergreen fund managing ~$8B across several investment strategies. Prior to Invus, David was at Valor Capital Group, a Brazil-focused VC fund and, prior to that, at Monitor Clipper Partners, a growth-focused PE fund where he was a member of the European investment team. David has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BSFS in International Politics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. L I G H T S P E E D V E N T U R E P A R T N E R S ADAM SMITH Adam is a Partner at Lightspeed. He joined in 2019 as one of the early members of the firm's growth team, where he focuses on high-growth enterprise and consumer investment opportunities. Adam started his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company. He then joined Uber, where he led the NYC team responsible for optimizing the supply-side of the marketplace. Adam came to Lightspeed from Bain Capital Ventures, where he looked at early- to-late stage investments in application software across both verticals and horizontals. During his time there, he developed segment expertise in financial technology. Adam graduated magna cum laude from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Neurobiology. L U M I A CHRISTOPHER ROGERS Christopher T. Rogers, J.D. is a Partner at Lumia Capital, a San Francisco based venture capital firm investing in US category leaders pursuing international markets and local leaders dominating the fastest growing global markets. Prior to Lumia, Chris was the co-founder of Nextel Communications which he grew to $13B in sales and 19K employees before being acquired by Sprint for $35B.
