ARIELMUSLERA Argentina Managing Partner | Eastpoint Ventures Ariel is the co-founder of Eastpoint Ventures, a company builder that will officially launch in 2013 with the goal to create tech startups operating in specific industry verticals. Prior to founding EastPoint Ventures, Ariel was a partner at CAP ventures where he focused on sourcing tech-related investments, particularly Web 2.0, New and Digital Media, Mobile Apps and SaaS companies. He currently manages 7 portfolio companies for the fund. Today, Ariel is the Regional Advisor role for Latin American Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LAVCA). Ariel holds an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and has a BA in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. GABRIELARUGGERI Argentina Business Development Director, Latin America | DMGT International Gabriela Ruggeri is the regional adviser at DMGT International for Latin America, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gabriela also serves as board member in the investments done by DMGT in the region and is a board member of the Foundation Junior Achievement for Argentina. Previously, Gabriela was the Regional Managing Director for ISI Emerging Markets within Euromoney Institutional Investor. Born in Buenos Aires, Gabriela joined ISI in 1997 building the product and starting the business operation. She was then later promoted to regional product manager for Latin America based in Santiago, Chile and in 2002 to General Manager for Brazil and Argentina based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. SANTIAGOSCHETTINI Argentina Manager Partner | Eastpoint Ventures Santiago is a Managing Partner of Eastpoint Ventures, and runs Venture Capital and Private Equity investments at Global SFO, a family office with active participation in more than 30 companies in Argentina, Uruguay, USA, Mexico, Chile and Brazil in industries such as retail, real estate, hospitality, agribusiness, tech, digital media, medical services, financial services and more. At Global SFO, Santiago invests and coaches early stage entrepreneurs, and he is an active board member in the larger, more established entities. He is also responsible for every M&A deal made by the firm. Before joining Global SFO in 2009, Santiago started companies as an entrepreneur in Latin America and Spain. SANTIAGOSUBOTOVSKY United States Principal | Emergence Capital Partners Santi's deep knowledge of the enterprise technology sector comes from his experience as an entrepreneur starting and running a global SaaS e-learning company, AXG Tecnonexo. Prior to joining Emergence, Santi was an associate with Storm Ventures, where he sourced opportunities and presented investment recommendations in the SaaS, enterprise software and consumer Internet spaces. In 1999, Santi founded his own company, AXG Tecnonexo, the largest e-learning vendor in Latin America. He expanded the company from its inception to more than 150 employees with operations across Latin America and the US. Santi is a Kauffman Fellow and an Endeavor Entrepreneur. 11
