ROB CONEYBEER United States Founder and Managing Director | Shasta Ventures An engineer by training, Rob is an expert in wireless and mobile technology who approaches start-up investing from a deep product perspective. Prior to co-founding Shasta, he was a general partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), where he led 15 early-stage investments in companies spanning the semiconductor, software and networking industries. Before NEA, Rob served as a lead integration and test engineer in the Astro Space division of Martin Marietta, where he helped build the first EchoStar spacecraft. Rob earned a M.S in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia. ARJUNA COSTA United States Director, Investments | Omidyar Network Arjuna invests in microfinance and entrepreneurship within the Access to Capital initiative, with a focus on Africa. Arjuna concluded consulting with the Gates Foundation on the economics of delivering savings products through the different channels and business models supported by its Financial Services for the Poor initiative. Previously, he was a member of the Africa and Middle East special situations investment practice at The Rohatyn Group, an emerging markets investment firm with $2.5 billion under management. Arjuna earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Computer Science from Columbia University. GONZALO COSTA Argentina Founding Partner | NXTP Labs Gonzalo is a Founding Partner at NXTP Labs, a seed-fund accelerator based in Latin America, with more than 50 investments to date. He has experience in private equity and venture capital, and has participated as angel investor in several projects. Previously, he was Managing Director at Endeavor Argentina. Gonzalo worked in Santander Investment and GE Capital, both in New York and Argentina, where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Universidad Catolica Argentina, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he founded and managed the Latin American Students Association. DILEK DAYINLARLI Turkey Vice President | 212 Ventures Dilek is a Vice President at 212, focusing on investments in Internet, telecom and technology companies. Prior to 212, Dilek worked at Groupon as a Director of Strategy and Analysis where she advised senior management on current performance and future strategies, led company growth through new product category launches, transferred international best practices, and worked with the sales organization to become more effective. Previously, Dilek was a Senior Management Consultant in Accenture's Communications & High Technology practice. She spent the first couple of years of her career in Turkey as a Business Developer at Koc Holding's Telecom division executing business development and strategy. 8
