BLAIR SILVERBERG United States Investor | Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) Blair Silverberg is an Investment Professional at DFJ. Prior to joining DFJ, Blair worked as a product manager at Intuit where he ran the successful launch of Mint.com's first paid offering. Prior to Intuit, Blair co-founded an online tutoring marketplace, called TutorCloud, as part of education incubator Imagine K12's first class of ed-tech startups. Blair graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Product Design, where he built a variety of products including an aluminum scooter and snowshoes that telescopically collapse into skis. He also served as the head of marketing for IDEAS, a non-profit promoting on-campus sustainability initiatives at universities in Europe and Asia. TOM SPEECHLEY UAE Partner | The Abraaj Group Tom joined The Abraaj Group in 2006 and has been responsible for several investments across a number of sectors and growth markets. In 2009, Mr Speechley established the Group's small and mid-cap (SMC) investment platforms and oversaw its growth into new markets in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He speaks and writes frequently on the topic of entrepreneurship and created and launched wamda.com, The Abraaj Group's online portal dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. He sits on the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum on Fostering Entrepreneurship. SANTIAGO SUBOTOVSKY United States Principal | Emergence Capital Partners Santi is a Principal with Emergence Capital Partners. Prior to joining Emergence, Santi was an associate with Storm Ventures, where he sourced opportunities and presented investment recommendations in the SaaS, enterprise software and consumer Internet spaces. In 1999, Santi founded his own company, AXG Tecnonexo, the largest e-learning vendor in Latin America. He expanded the company from its inception to more than 150 employees with operations across Latin America and the US. Santi is a Kauffman Fellow and an Endeavor Entrepreneur. YANEV SUISSA United States Venture Fellow | New Enterprise Associates (NEA) Yanev joined NEA officially in 2010, having worked with the firm since 2009. He currently works with the boards of Solidfire, Bridge International Academies, Bandgap Engineering, and Boulder Wind Power for NEA. In the tech space, Yanev focuses on earlier stage investments, including enterprise and cloud solutions, digital media, and consumer technologies. In the energy space, Yanev focuses on both supply and demand side solutions across all renewable technologies while simultaneously providing regular advice to energy companies within NEA's portfolio. Yanev earned an MBA with distinction from the Oxford Said School of Business (Christ Church), a JD from Harvard Law School, and a Master's degree from Sydney Law School. 15
