DIEGO PIACENTINI has served as SVP International since joining Amazon.com in February 2000. He is responsible for all international retail operations in Europe and Asia. Prior to Amazon, he was VP & GM of Apple Computer Europe. He serves on the Advisory Boards for UW Foster School of Business, Endeavor and the Maasai Association (supporting education and health initiatives in Kenya). Diego holds a degree in economics from Bocconi University of Milan and was awarded 'Bocconiano dell'Anno' in 2010. As the Creative Lead at Innovation Endeavors (Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt's early-stage venture fund), she offers marketing and communications support directly to global entrepreneurs, helping them to develop their brand, position their company and connect with journalists. In this workshop, she will help you strengthen your brand voice, from media relations to content strategy, and from sales pitches to investor meetings. VANESSA HOPE SCHNEIDER is part of the team that works with the Innovation Endeavors community to create opportunities for entrepreneurs to connect with one another to share ideas, problem-solve and inspire one another. She leads a working group that helps entrepreneurs develop their brand, position their company, and connect with journalists. In addition, she devotes her time to creating events and campaigns that illustrate the unique way that Innovation Endeavors supports its portfolio companies and larger, creative community-building. 16
