Leigh Moran United States Calvert Foundation Leigh is an Officer on the Strategic Initiatives team at Calvert Foundation, focused on the design and implementation of investment initiatives based on key social impact areas, such as the Women Investing in Women Initiative launched last year. Leigh is currently leading Calvert Foundation's work to develop a new initiative to engage diaspora communities to invest in the economic development of their country of origin or heritage. Prior to Calvert Foundation, Leigh spent time at the National Economic Council and also worked with a microinsurance NGO in New Delhi to create an impact assessment framework for field programs. Felipe Ortiz-Monasterio Mexico The Abraaj Group Felipe Ortiz-Monasterio is a member of The Abraaj Group's team in Mexico. He has been involved in pipeline generation, the investment process and overseeing the Group's investee companies. Mr Ortiz-Monasterio has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, gained both at his own firm, Carral, Olea, Ortiz-Monasterio y Pliego, and at Banque Paribas, Banco del Sureste, Operadora de Bolsa and Multibanco Comermex. He has extensive experience in issuance of securities. Mr Ortiz-Monasterio holds a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Gustavo Pinheiro Brazil Bessemer Venture Partners Gustavo focuses on software and internet opportunities in Brazil. Before joining Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Gustavo worked at GP Investimentos, where he focused on the information technology and retail sectors. Prior to his work at GP Investimentos, Gustavo worked at Boston-based internet startup DataXu and erved as a research assistant at MIT Aero/Astro Department. At the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, he developed software for optimization problems. Gustavo holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA). Alexander Rossi Mexico Latin Idea Ventures Alex Rossi has over 22 years of investment banking and private equity experience in the U.S. and Latin America. Mr. Rossi is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Latin Idea Ventures, the largest Mexico-based institutional venture capital fund manager with a broad portfolio of active venture investments in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. He is currently an advisor to AMEXCAP and is the President of it's Venture Capital Committee. Previously, Mr. Rossi was the Managing Director for Communications Equity Associates, LLC (CEA), a merchant bank specialized in the media, communications and technology sectors. 14
