Prior to launching Founders into Funders, Juan founded Grupo AMV Design. In 2008, Juan was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur company. He has received many accolades for his work — he is considered one of the Entrepreneurs responsible for transforming Mexico by the book "La Nueva Cara de México" and was selected as the entrepreneur of the year 2007 by Expansion Magazine. Juan is active mentor and advisor to many Startups across the region. Federico Antoni Mexico Venture Partners Federico Antoni is the Managing Partner of Venture Partners. Prior to joining Venture Partners, Federico was CEO of Edoardos, a textile and fashion group with more than 100 outlets that listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. While at Edoardos, Federico created and developed Sister in 2009, a brand for the growing tween market with over 20 stores nationwide, which had been consistently growing at double-digits. Federico is Chairman of the board at Carrot and board member of AMEXCAP, Multiempeños, Cuidate, , Aventones, and Prestadero. He is a professor of the Graduate Business Development and Entrepreneurship program at ITAM and Co-founder of the Business School of CENTRO. Vivian Baring United Kingdom DMGT Vivian Baring started working for his family business DMGT in 1981 originally with Northcliffe Newspapers Group. Vivian then went onto become Chairman of A&N International Media, building a collection of digital businesses in nine countries in Central and Eastern Europe, concluding with a successful exit in 2012 when the Group decided to re-focus on core markets. In 2011, he became Deputy Chairman of DMGT International, looking for digital businesses that will complement existing DMGT businesses worldwide with a particular focus in Latin America. Vivian is also Founder and President of Seagrass Capital Partners, who are investing in angel and early stage digital start up businesses in Latin America. 8
