David Lamer Founder & CEO, CORE Brand Advisors David Lamer is Founder and CEO of CORE Brand Advisors, a strategic consulting firm providing merchandise and brand management insight to global lifestyle brands. Most recently, he was Vice President of Merchandise Planning at Cole Haan, an affiliate of Nike which he helped turnaround and sell for $560 million. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Lamer was part of the original team at Tommy Hilfiger that helped build the brand from less than $75 million in the U.S. to more than $1.7 billion globally. In 1999 Mr. Lamer founded Joshuatown Advisors, a global consultancy providing research and branding services to emerging brands and designers. During his career he has worked with other distinguished brands including Kate Spade and Lambertson Truex, and in addition to being CEO at CORE Brand Advisors he is the Founder of PreeLine, a new internet+mobile technology platform to re-imagine B2C. Paul Marcum Director of Global Digital Marketing & Programming, General Electric As Director of Global Digital Marketing & Programming, Paul Marcum is responsible for creating and delivering the GE's online brand and reputation around the world through a compelling and engaging Web presence, creating and curating content, and developing robust distribution strategies to disseminate GE's stories and messages to key audiences and stakeholders. With 16 years of experience in digital media, Paul has deep expertise in digital marketing, content development, online video operations, and social media, as well as extensive experience in negotiating content licensing and distribution with partners, such as YouTube, Aol, and Cablevision. He has led multiple-platform initiatives for many iconic global brands including Sesame Street, Citi, and Star Wars. Most recently, Paul was CEO at GenMouse, Inc., an aggregation of premium kids animation and live action video, and had worked in Yahoo! Media Group and Yahoo! Entertainment. He has been very active in building the digital community, as a member of the Interactive Media Peer Group at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the PBS Next Generation Advisory Board, as well as organizer of the New York Data Visualization Meetup. Lisa Shalett Head of Brand Marketing & Digital Strategy, Goldman Sachs Lisa Shalett is a Partner at Goldman Sachs and the head of Brand Marketing and Digital Strategy, responsible for the firm's corporate brand, including advertising, GS.com, social media, the annual report, and marketing efforts for corporate engagement and recruitment. Over her 18 years at the firm, Lisa has had a very diverse career, beginning in the Securities Division in Japanese Equities Sales, eventually running International Equities; then becoming the COO of Global Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit; then taking on her current role in 2010 amidst the financial crisis. Lisa is committed to mentoring, leadership and diversity initiatives both within and outside of Goldman Sachs, serving on the Steering Committees of Kellogg's Center for Executive Women, the Women in Media Mentoring Initiative, and as a mentor in W.O.M.E.N. in America. She was named one of the Top 50 Women Brand Marketers. Lisa earned her B.A. and M.B.A. from Harvard University.
