MARTIN GEDALIN United States Lumia Capital Martin founded Lumia Capital in early 2011 to identify and partner with rapidly-scaling Internet and software companies in emerging markets experiencing breakout Internet growth. At Lumia, Martin serves on the board of MarkaVIP, the Middle East's largest private shopping club. Prior to Lumia, Martin was a later-stage venture capital investor at Focus Ventures, an IT-focused Venture Capital Firm in Palo Alto with $850M under management. At Focus, Martin helped lead the firm's Internet and software efforts and was instrumental in numerous investments such as Cyan, Buzz Media, Sojern, Sepaton and Reputation.com. AARON GERSHENBERG United States Silicon Valley Bank Aaron Gershenberg is a founder of Silicon Valley Bank's fund of funds and direct investment group, SVB Capital. Aaron joined SVB in 1999 and has been part of the venture capital industry since 1996. Under his leadership, the group has over $1.7 billion under management across fund of funds, direct funds and separate accounts. Aaron's expertise is evaluating venture capital funds and growth funds globally. He has published numerous articles on the health and future of venture capital and is frequently invited to speak as well as participate on panels across the globe. MARCIN HEJKA Poland Intel Capital Marcin joined Intel Capital in 1999. Prior to Intel Capital Marcin was Investment Director at the Poland Growth Fund (1995-1999), Resident Polish Specialist at Banexi (1993) and Financial Analyst at Paribas Capital Markets Group (1990). Between 2004 and 2011 Marcin was also Vice President of the Polish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association the largest industry association in Central Eastern Europe. He has invested in and managed exits from Wirtualna Polska (acquired by TPSA), Centrum.cz (acquired by Warburg Pincus), eTel (acquired by Austrian Telecom), Index.hu (acquired by jv of Vivendi), iMall (acquired by Naspers) and AVG (IPO on NYSE) and invested in Ru-Net/Yandex, Nokta and Wind Mobile. ANDREW KAU United States Walden International Andrew is the Managing Director of Walden International where he focuses on clean technology and semiconductors. Andrew joined Walden International in 1994. Prior to WI, he was President of Chemical Technologies Ventures. He was also a management consultant at Strategic Planning Associates and Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Earlier in his career, he was a research scientist at Systems Planning Corporation and a VLSI semiconductor engineer at IBM. 27
