Recent research by Endeavor Insight reveals that, compared to other countries in the region, Lebanon fares well when it comes to sourcing talent. The Lebanese workforce is educated. The 2013 Global Competitiveness Index considers Lebanon's tertiary education enrollment rate a competitive advantage for the country, and the 2013 Global Innovation Index also highlights Lebanon's tertiary education as one of its strong points. This is particularly the case in the technology sector where companies often have to train engineers to become fully productive.
