For Endeavor Lebanon's impact to be sustainable it depends on the health of the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem, in particular the will of entrepreneurs to support each other. To this end, since its inception, Endeavor has relentlessly promoted collaboration and multilateral support across key stakeholders at all levels of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Endeavor's targeted focus on High-Impact Entrepreneurs is at the core of its mission. As an organization, it is optimized to directly and deeply support a particular type of entrepreneur poised to have a disproportionately large impact on the local economy. Endeavor's global experience recognizes that 40% of jobs created in growth markets are created by just 4% of entrepreneurs. In Lebanon, it is estimated that in order to create 10,000 new jobs, it would require 50 SMEs to grow into larger companies as opposed to creating 430 new SMEs. These High-Impact Entrepreneurs typically go on to become investors, mentors, partners and supporters of other entrepreneurs, creating a multiplier effect, expanding Endeavor's positive impact exponentially.
