A NUMBER OF INDUSTRY AND NETWORKING EVENTS WERE HELD TO SPUR CONNECTIONS, NEW IDEAS, COLLABORATION AND INSPIRATION. IN 2013, ENDEAVOR LEBANON ENTREPRENEURS PARTICIPATED IN TECH TOURS IN SILICON VALLEY WITH LINKEDIN, GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK. NETWORKS & EVENTS In 2013, Endeavor Lebanon Entrepreneurs attended the Endeavor Entrepreneurship Summit in San Francisco. They chose to take part in nearly 20 different workshops, side panels, and group discussions, which tackled subjects as diverse as protecting IP and managing customer data. Sessions were led by experts from Bain, Business Model Generation, General Electric and SAP. Keynote speakers at the event included Jack Dorsey, Twitter Co-founder and Chairman, as well as John Donahoe, CEO of Ebay. A two-hour Global Connections session brought together close to 300 entrepreneurs and Endeavor network members for a round-robin series of one-on-one mentoring sessions. On a local level, Endeavor Lebanon organizes four to five networking events a year. These are designed to facilitate connections between the Entrepreneurs and mentors, and Entrepreneurs and other stakeholders of the Lebanese ecosystem. In 2013, Endeavor Lebanon launched a series of press roundtable discussions where Endeavor engages different stakeholders and experts who discuss specific subjects related to entrepreneurship in the presence of the press, creating a bridge between the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the wider community.
