Led by Guillermo Casares González (MEXICO), Mexis has its origins in a company called InfoAcces, one of Mexico's first Internet service providers. Guillermo made a MBO of the company being the CEO, when the global corporation went broke in 2001 and re-launched it as Mexis to become a leading provider of solutions in managed services security and cloud services, especially for medium to the lower part of the corporate companies. Guillermo has over 30 years of experience leading information technology companies, including Motorola where he was the director of Latin American sales. He also participates as partner and commercial director in the start up of Protel, a long distance carrier in 1997. He was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2004. Mural.ly provides online whiteboards that help organize information and design through visual collaboration. Mariano is a serial web entrepreneur from Argentina who sold his original company, Three Melons, to Playdom back in 2010. Now based in California, Mariano is leading Mural.ly, a cloud-based visual collaboration suite – sort of a "white board on steroids." It's one of the 12 LatAm Startups to look out for in 2014. It's been backed by Intel Capital, 500 Startups, NXTP Labs and Alta Ventures and boasts clients such as Ancestry.com, Steelcase and IDEO. In fact, the Mural.ly team is currently being incubated at IDEO in San Francisco. Oasis Collections is an innovative hospitality company that manages portfolios of short-term rentals as well as a network of private Members' clubs – a higher-end, higher-touch version of Airbnb. With a team of 60+ employees across 5 offices (Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, and Miami), Oasis currently works with over 700 properties in 11 destinations in South America, the U.S., and Central America. Oasis Collections has a unique take on the "Sharing Economy" and ambitions to expand the concept more globally.
