15 MICHELLE MILHEM Colombia Silva Capital Partners Michelle Milhem joined Efromovich/Silva Capital Partners in 2013 as a Research Associate. Michelle earned her degree in Business Administration from Babson College in 2013. During her studies she interned at Tribeca Asset Management, at The Law Offices of Jeffrey Hersch, and in Perry Ellis International in Miami. JOHN MCKENNA United States Emergente Capital John is the Founder of Emergente Capital. He has over fifteen years of executive experience in both private equity and the technology industry, the majority focused on the emerging markets of Latin America and Asia. He has extensive experience advising corporate executives and Boards of Directors throughout the world on strategic issues. Most recently John worked as an executive in the Private Equity group of Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the US with over USD $1.5 trillion under management. His core responsibility was as a Strategic Advisor both to the owners of Fidelity as well as to the Board of Directors and Senior Management teams of each Portfolio company. GONZALO MIRANDA Chile Austral Capital Gonzalo Miranda is the founding partner of Austral Capital, an investment firm with offices in Chile, Colombia and the US, that focuses on investing in technology, energy and natural resources opportunities in the region. Previously, Gonzalo was Managing Director of Endeavor Chile. Mr. Miranda is member of the Society of Kauffman Fellows. JOSE PARRA Colombia Taurus Capital Jose Parra is a partner of Taurus Capital, an alternative investment firm. He manages a US$5 million Seed Capital Fund, that invests in early-stage companies. Jose has a Msc in Finance from London Business School and Finance Certificates from SDA Bocconi. He worked in Investment Banking for several years, and before joining Taurus, he was Deputy Treasurer of Grupo Orbis in Colombia.
