ANTONIUS TAUFAN GiftCard Indonesia (GIC) Indonesia PATRICK WALUJO NorthStar Pacific Indonesia VINNIE LAURIA Golden Gate Ventures Singapore GCI is redefining the gift-giving experience by creating end-to-end solutions for the burgeoning gift card ecosystem in Indonesia. In two short years, founder Antonius Taufan has acquired some of Indonesia's most prominent corporate clients who are seeking to distribute gift cards to reward their employees and stakeholders. While Taufan is leading a new way to incentivize corporate stakeholders in Indonesia, he has always set his sights on building an ecosystem for gift cards and alternative payments, primarily targeting the unbanked population. Patrick Walujo is co-founder and managing partner of Northstar Pacific Partners, one of Indonesia's leading private investment firms. Together with its partners, Northstar has invested $2 billion in various sectors, including energy, financial services, consumer and retail, industrial and communications. Prior to co-founding Northstar, Walujo was senior vice president of Pacific Century Ventures Ltd. in Tokyo, where he played a key role in the firm's mergers, acquisitions and corporate business development in Japan. He started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in London and New York. In 2009, Walujo was awarded Ernst & Young's prestigious Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Vinnie Lauria is a Managing Partner at Golden Gate Ventures, and a Kauffman Fellow. Additionally, he is an active mentor and advisor to startups around the globe through organizations such as the Founder's Institute and a guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore. Prior to setting up Golden Gate Ventures in Singapore, Vinnie built two startups in Silicon Valley: Meetro.com, a location-based chat service which was dissolved with many lessons learned in 2007; and Lefora.com, a hosted forum service which grew to over 100,000+ communities and was acquired by CrowdGather in 2010. FEBRUARY 4TH MARK CHANG Jobstreet Malaysia Mark Chang is an Executive Director and Founder of JobStreet.com. He has also been its Chief Executive Officer since its inception. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, USA in 1988 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in 1990. Prior to founding MOL Online Sdn Bhd in 1995 and subsequently JobStreet.com in 1997, Mark was with Kendall International, a US healthcare company, for six years, starting as a process engineer in 1990 before being promoted to manufacturing manager in 1992 and regional director of sales and marketing for Malaysia in 1994.
