Gabriela Ruggeri DMGT International Argentina Eduardo Amadeo Nazca Ventures Argentina Santiago Caniggia Bengolea Nazca Ventures Chile Ariel Arrieta NXTPLabs Argentina Gabriela Ruggeri is the Business Development Director at DMGT International for Latin America, the Managing Partner for Seagrass Capital Partners, and the Co- founder of Eastpoint Ventures. Gabriela also serves on the board of Foundation Junior Achievement for Argentina as well as several DMGT portfolio companies in the region. Previously, she was the Regional Managing Director for ISI Emerging Markets at Euromoney Institutional Investor. Born in Buenos Aires, Gabriela joined ISI in 1997, building the product and starting up the business operation. She moved to a regional product manager role for Latin America based in Santiago, Chile and in 2002 was appointed Managing Director for the Southern Cone based in São Paulo, Brazil. Having worked and studied in the US, Brazil, and Chile, she is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Eduardo Amadeo co-founded Nazca Ventures, a regional venture capital firm specialized in early stage startups with offices and teams in Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. He has over 10 years of experience working with high-potential companies as a business consultant. Previously, he was the Director of Public and International Affairs at FUNDES and led the creation of "Buenos Aires Emprende," the city of Buenos Aires' entrepreneurship program. He holds a BA in International Studies from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Competitiveness from Universidad de San Andrés. Santiago Caniggia is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Nazca Ventures, a regional venture capital firm specialized in early stage startups with offices and teams in Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of law and entrepreneurship, and participated in Columbia Business School's Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America program in 2009-2010. Ariel Arrieta is a serial entrepreneur. He has been involved in the Internet/ online media industry since 1994 and is currently the Co-founder and Managing Partner at NXTPLabs, a Latin American seed fund. He founded Digital Ventures, Directa Network, Performa Network, Afiliados Hispanos, and InZearch—all online advertising companies acquired by FOX in 2007. He is a frequent speaker at AdTech, IAA, IAB, Online Marketing Europe, OMD, Marketing 2.0, and AMDIA, among others. Ariel has completed an OPM at Harvard Business School.
