Santiago Fossatti Kaszek Ventures Argentina Sean Petersen IFC United States Santiago Fossatti has served as a Senior Investment Associate at Kaszek Ventures since 2011. Before working at Kaszek, he was an Associate at Value Partners, a European Management Consulting Firm, where he worked for two years in the Telecommunications and Technology practice, principally in Brazil, and also in Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. Prior to this, he worked at Banco Galicia (Argentina's largest private bank) as an Investor Relations Officer and Equity Analyst for three years. Santiago received an Industrial Engineering degree (MSc) from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires. Sean has spent more than ten years making venture backed investments and invested in 15+ companies as well as completing several limited partner investments in venture funds globally. Currently, Sean focuses on venture investments with emerging market angles in the education, health, resource efficiency, and consumer Internet technology spaces. Prior to joining the IFC, Sean worked for Good Energies VC in New York and launched SwapsWire Ltd. (acquired by MRKT on NASDAQ), and was a Co-founder of Blackbird, Inc., the world's first electronic derivative trading platform. Sean began his career at Merrill Lynch in derivative trading & IT. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Chemical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Luis Lora Allen & Company United States Luis is a Managing Director at Allen & Company, a merchant banking firm in New York City, where he is responsible for the firm's business in Latin America. Luis has spent his career at the crossroads of corporate development, investing, and advisory. He has worked for BNP Paribas, Palladium Equity Partners, UBS, Bertelsmann, and James D. Wolfensohn, Inc. He lives in New York City. Mariana Chango Tokai Ventures Uruguay Mariana Chango is a Civil Engineer, with a Master's degree in Management of Telecommunications Companies, and a Senior Executive Program in the IEEM Business School. She is also a venture partner and advisor at Tokai Ventures. She actively participates in the investment comitee, and is a board member of some of the invested companies. From 2000 till 2004, Sales VP at ANCEL (Mobile Operator). Mariana leaded major projects such as the development of text messaging and mobile Internet. In 2004, she was invited to be part of LIFE Cinemas business group, where she is currently General Manager of the theatres chain.
