United States BRIAN FEINSTEIN Bessemer Venture Partners United States MARIANO FERNANDEZ Nxtp Labs Argentina David joined Mitsui & Co Private Equity business in 2006, focusing on originating and executing early stage and growth equity investments throughout the Americas and Asia. Previously, he was a Vice President at GE Capital in their Corporate Financial Services group, where he was involved in originating and executing debt and equity investments in leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to GE, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions departments at UBS Warburg and Robertson and Stephens & Co, where he focused on corporate advisory assignments in the telecommunications, financial institutions, consumer products, natural resources, and healthcare services fields. He earned his BA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and MBA from Columbia Business School. Brian Feinstein is a partner at BVP, where he focuses on consumer Internet and enterprise software investments, and helps oversee BVP's efforts in Brazil and Russia. Brian has been involved in the firm's investments in Clio, Enforta, Gainsight, Knewton, LiveAuctioneers, Mindbody, Playdom, Procore, United Capital, Zoosk and an unannounced mobile gaming investment. He was a founder and partner at Opera New Media, an online advertising agency, and worked in the private equity group at Blackstone. Brian holds a B.A. in government from Harvard University and is the author of Bessemer's Industry Software Practice white paper. Mariano co-founded NXTP Labs, the most active early-stage investment fund and accelerator in Latin America. NXTP Labs has already invested in more than 150 companies and plans to complete a portfolio of 300 companies in the region. Moreover, NXTP Labs has been generating a large impact in the Latin American entrepreneurial community by helping to foster a fertile ecosystem for technology innovation, entrepreneurs and investors. ALAN FIELDS The Abraaj Group United States Alan has over 20 years experience as an institutional sales professional in the United States, introducing investment solutions to U.S. institutional clients across a wide range of alternative products. Prior to joining The Abraaj Group he spent 13 years as Managing Director at PineBridge Investments (and its predecessor entity AIG Investments) covering pension plans, endowments & foundations, insurance companies, and family offices. He helped to raise funds in Sub Saharan Africa, Central & Eastern Europe, pan Asia, and Latin America. Prior to AIG/Pinebridge Alan was Managing Director in institutional fixed income sales at Bear Stearns & Co, where he spent 10 years and before that he was with the auditing team of KPMG for three years.
