13 WESTON GADDY Bain Capital Ventures United States RASHID GALADANCI The Social Entrepreneurs' Fund United States Weston joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2009, and he focuses on investments in early- stage companies and assists the portfolio operations group. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Weston worked as a strategy consultant for media, financial service, and consumer product clients at Bain & Company in New York. While in college, Weston worked with several start-ups, including Frogmetrics, a hand-held survey device company, and WisdomTree Funds. Weston received a BS in Economics, cum laude, with concentrations in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of Venture investing, Weston's passion is promoting environmental causes. Rashid Galadanci has a background in emerging market economic development, technology, energy, and management consulting. Before joining TSEF, Rashid was an associate at Armonia LLC, an impact investing-focused family office. Prior to that, he managed a number of global initiatives and oversaw operational policy at FINCA International, a leading microfinance institution with 2 million clients in 23 countries. Rashid began his career on the Strategy and Organization team at Booz Allen Hamilton where he worked with a wide range of government clients, helped launch the firm's commercial practice and developed a spin-off technology company focused on digital identity credentials. PABLO GARFINKEL Tokai Ventures Uruguay Pablo is a serial entrepreneur and an active investor. He co-founded Tokai Ventures, the most important angel investing & early-stage VC Group based in Uruguay but investing throughout Latin America. Their portfolio includes 14 companies and 2 exits. Pablo is also a Venture Partner at NXTPLabs, the main early-stage Latin American accelerator, with over 180 companies. He is also a member of the HBS Alumni Angels group of Brazil, Alianza del Pacífico AI Network, is a Board Member at Endeavor, and Founder of Fundación DarALuz. He has participated in many events such as Google Cloud DevChallenge and Harvard New Venture Competition both as a speaker and a judge. MARTIN GUERRA InCapital Uruguay Martín is the Founder of InCapital, a Private Equity Fund located in Uruguay. InCapital focuses on e-commerce, health and consumer finance sectors. He is also a Director at Scotiabank Uruguay, Endeavor Uruguay and Advisor to the Board of the ANII, the National Agency for the Promotion of Research and Innovation. He enterered the business world in his early 20's when he co-founded BGV, a financial service company, where he served as Director until 2007. In 1997, he founded Pronto! a consumer finance company. In 2007, he sold a majority stake of Pronto! to Advent International, and in 2011 the whole company was acquired by Scotiabank. Martín was born in Montevideo, and has studied economics and business.
