Kristen's practice focuses on providing insights and banking solutions to VC and PE funds, as well as technology companies of all sizes in LatAm, and she also serves as a resource to SVB's U.S. clients as they consider expansion into the region. Kristen has a passion for helping companies access opportunities globally and has worked with Fortune1000 companies and for the U.S. government in international roles in the past. She has an MS in Energy & Resources from the University of California-Berkeley and a BS from the University of Missouri. Guibert co-founded Globant, a company that quickly became a global leader in the creation of innovative software products, in 2003. Globant now employs 3,300 employees, has an entirely fresh approach to the IT services industry, has a blue chip customer list, and became a global role model for entrepreneurship. He has also been its Chief Executive Officer since its inception. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, USA in 1988 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in 1990. Prior to founding MOL Online Sdn Bhd in 1995 and subsequently JobStreet. com in 1997, Mark was with Kendall International, a US healthcare company, for six years, starting as a process engineer in 1990 before being promoted to manufacturing manager in 1992 and regional director of sales and marketing for Malaysia in 1994. He left Kendall International in 1996 to establish JobStreet.com. SCOTT BOOTH Eastern Advisors United States An investor with over 20 years of experience, Scott is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Eastern Advisors LLC, which he founded in 2003. In 2012, Eastern Advisors launched Lead Edge Capital, a private, growth equity investment group that started 4 years earlier as Eastern Advisors Private Equity and invests in growth stage software and internet businesses. Scott was also a founding investor and partner in Yield Capital Management (YCP), which invests in the energy, real estate and telecommunication infrastructure sectors globally with the objective of generating annual yield and asset appreciation. Prior to founding Eastern Advisors, Scott was a Portfolio Manager for Asian Pacific markets at Kingdon Capital, LLC from 1995-2002.
