Fourteen years ago, GPS was used in Colombia primarily to prevent car theft, but companies are now looking for sophisticated ways to harness GPS and a wider range of telematics solutions to optimize operations. Widetech realizes that the power of mobile tracking could be expanded to provide a range of logistics solutions, cutting costs and boosting sales for companies throughout Latin America. Jaime studied at Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería 'Julio Garavito' and the Politécnico Grancolombiano. Mohamed is the founder of Seha Capital, a healthcare investment company that acquired Hassab Labs. Hassab Labs is one of the leading medical diagnostics companies in Egypt and recently expanded to a number of African countries. Seha also acquired a hospital in Cairo and is building a national hospital chain with the goal of positively impacting the Egyptian healthcare sector. Mohamed is active in social development, which is exemplified by his role as Co-founder of the Ahl Masr Foundation, a charitable organization whose mission is to improve healthcare services for children. Marek is the CEO of Cityglobe, an online application that helps decide where in the world one should place their business activity. It covers hundreds of world cities to provide companies with full, updated, accessible data and direct partner connections in cities. It helps compare hundreds of locations using hundreds of data points and select the best global business destination. Cityglobe means global opportunities and smart global location options for all companies, no matter what size. Marek has an MA in Business and Managerial Economics from the University of Economics in Poznan, Poland, a PhD in International Economics from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Poznaniu, and was a Post- Doctoral Visiting Scholar at Columbia University. Santiago is an entrepreneur, a venture capitalist and an executive, most notable for founding Officenet, an office supply delivery business in Argentina, which was then acquired by Staples Inc. Santiago is also strongly involved in entrepreneurship (he sits at the Board of institutions such as Endeavor Foundation and Prosperar Foundation) and public transparency (as member of the Board of Administration of CIPPEC). Santiago was one of the organizers of the first TEDxBuenosAires and is currently organizing TEDxRiodelaPlata. In 2010 he assisted a course called Singularity University in a Nasa Center in Mountain View.
