Sina is the Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Markafoni, the first and leading online
fashion site in Turkey. Markafoni became the first Turkish internet company to expand
beyond the borders of Turkey, launching sites in Australia, Ukraine, Greece and Poland
between 2009 and 2011. In Turkey, Markafoni established zizigo.com as well as Misspera.
com and acquired enmoda.com. In July 2011, the Naspers Group acquired a majority
stake of Markafoni - one of the biggest deals in the Turkish Internet sector. Sina holds
a master's degree from the WWU University in Munster, Germany. Prior to co-founding
Markafoni, Sina worked at KPMG and eBay. He is an active angel business investor in early
stage start-ups.
Paulo is the CEO and Co-founder of 99taxis, an app that allows users to book taxis in real
time. It has the largest taxi fleet in Brazil with 100,000 drivers and millions of completed
rides every month. Paulo is also a Partner at Guidu Card, the largest Brazilian digital loyalty
program platform for restaurants, and is a Board Member at B2W, a leading online retailer
in Brazil publicly listed on Bovespa. He is the former Managing Director of Endeavor Brazil.
Nevzat is the global CEO of Yemeksepeti, the leading online food delivery portal in Turkey
and in the Middle East. Nevzat studied computer engineering at Boğaziçi University,
Istanbul, Turkey, and then earned his MBA at the University of San Francisco. In 2000,
he returned to Turkey to found yemeksepeti.com, which transformed the Turkish
e-commerce market. The company later expanded into the Middle East with its global
brand Foodonclick.com and currently operates in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia
and Lebanon. In 2013, yemeksepeti.com was named amongst Turkey's "Superbrands,"
received a Golden Effie for its TV commercial and was chosen as the Best E-Commerce
by TNW Turkish Start-up Awards.
