Scale-ups had a compounded annual
growth rate (CAGR) in employment of 37%
while other job creators in the economy,
excluding start-ups, had a CAGR of 7%.
More than 17 new jobs were created per
scale-up in a period of three years.
A comparison of scale-ups with other job
creating companies reveals that the job
growth per firm for scale-ups was almost
twice the job growth per firm for other
job creating companies. Approximately 10
employees were employed per non-scale-up
job creator, excluding start-ups, in a three
year period.
Endeavor Lebanon found that the
companies it supports had generated
an average of 28 new jobs per firm in a
three year period. The total number of
employees of the current 16 Endeavor
Lebanon companies increased from 725
employees in 2010 to 1,176 at the end of
2013.
