THE IMPACT OF SCALE-UPS ON JOB CREATION IN
LEBANON IS SIGNIFICANT. RESULTS SHOW THAT SCALE-
UPS, REPRESENTING 12% OF FIRMS IN LEBANON,
GENERATED 51% OF THE JOBS CREATED IN A THREE
YEAR PERIOD.
As the research above has shown,
a small number of high-growth
companies has a massive impact on
the economy. Endeavor's mission is
to identify and support entrepreneurs
who create scalable businesses
as ultimately these High-Impact
Entrepreneurs are the key to long-
term economic growth and job
creation. In 2013, Endeavor companies
generated $6.8 billion and created
more than 400,000 jobs globally.

They lead innovative firms that provide
the marketplace with groundbreaking
products and services. They are cited
as role models in their home countries
and abroad, inspiring many would-be
entrepreneurs to follow the same path.
Endeavor found that 90% of its
entrepreneurs were involved in their
ecosystem as mentors or investors,
or by giving speeches and appearing
in media coverage, thus contributing
to, and multiplying, the organization's
impact.
