DEAR ENDEAVOR FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS Endeavor Lebanon Entrepreneurs saw their businesses grow on average by 21% in 2014 despite an economic slowdown in the country. Their performance, supported by Endeavor mentors and Endeavor partners, was driven by focused strategies, strong leadership and a determination to grow global companies out of Lebanon. Our own strategy in 2014 was first to establish strong partnerships with leading professional service firms to better support Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and second to build bridges between our communities of stakeholders to better support Lebanon's High-Impact Entrepreneurs. We succeeded in building a number of partnerships that today offer Endeavor companies four times our organization's budget in pro- bono services, notwithstanding the 100s of hours donated by our 150 local and 2,500 global mentors. Our outreach events, which attracted over 1,000 people in 2014, included two milestone events: with Beirut Digital District, we hosted Ignite… Talent Meets Opportunity, a first of its kind professional speed networking concept introducing SMEs to their potential clients; and with LIFE, we launched the first Global Lebanese Entrepreneurs & Investors Summit, bridging links between Lebanese investors abroad and talented Lebanese entrepreneurs at home. From the enthusiasm of our supporters at home and abroad, there is no doubt that entrepreneurship in Lebanon is on the rise. High-Impact Entrepreneurs are at the forefront of this movement, and Endeavor is right beside them. SAMI KHOURI Chairman TAREK SADI Managing Director IMPACT REPORT 2014 – 2015 1
