ENDEAVOR MIAMI REPORT 2013 – 2014 15 NovoPayment – Selected December 2014 Kairos – Selected December 2014 Anabel, a native of Venezuela, graduated from Universidad Católica Andres Bello with a law degree and soon after, started working at one of Venezuela's largest banks where she spent 21 years in its retail banking division. Anabel dreamed of developing prepaid products that would address the many cash management challenges faced by companies in Latin America, and in 2004, NovoPayment was born. Brian is the perfect blend of technology geek and HR guru. Brian began his career solving enterprise problems for IBM's clients, gaining access to all levels of IBM's and it's clients' organization. Brian then joined Apple's HR team in 2010 during the dawn of its iOS era. At Apple, he managed the implementation of Apple's workforce management systems worldwide. Brian left Apple in 2011 to make more elegant enterprise HR software, which was the beginning of Kairos. NovoPayment provides companies throughout the Americas with access to new transactional services and product segments such as stored value and mobile wallet programs, through its proprietary bank-grade platforms and managed services. 2014 Revenue Growth: 33% As of year-end, NovoPayment has more than 9,000 clients and serves more than 1.5 million individual accounts with an eye towards expanding services in existing markets, while also tapping into new countries, such as Chile. Kairos removes the complexity of building and using facial recognition software, enabling businesses and governments to detect faces, recognize people, and analyze behaviors on mobile, web, and desktop applications with 99% accuracy. 2014 Revenue Growth: 1,497% In addition to signing top tier clients, and diving deeper into specific verticals, such as the healthcare space, Kairos is focused on acquiring technologies that will improve its core offering.
