She is actively involved with Accel's efforts in Latin America as well as with Accel's India Practice. Mariana was a part of the team that led Accel's investment in companies such as DJI, the world's leading drone maker; QMC Telecom, a wireless infrastructure provider; eduK, an online education services provider; and Despegar, Latin America's leading online travel agency. Bastiaan is the Business Development Manager at AXA Lab, where he focuses on developing new partnerships between AXA entities and companies in the Silicon Valley ecosystem. His aim is to help develop novel and differentiating customer propositions together with the AXA entities. Previously, Bastiaan worked at AXA UK in London as Senior Strategy Manager on the corporate strategy and M&A team. Bastiaan has also been active in private equity in the buy-out team at Doughty Hanson PE and worked as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. He holds Master's and Doctorate degrees in Management from the London School of Economics and the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. Atil is the General Partner of Collective Spark. He started his career at Andersen Consulting and has held senior management roles at the Washington Post, Newsweek Interactive and HealthCentral (acquired). He has deep expertise in building and growing companies, fundraising, and acquisitions. As an entrepreneur, Atil founded ventures that build web/ mobile solutions for consumers/enterprises. He advises two New York-based incubators and has a track record of investing in successful early-stage ventures. Atil holds an MBA from Duke. Jett is a venture capital investor at e.ventures, where he focuses on global investments across a variety of industries, including consumer internet, online media, and software. Prior to joining e.ventures, Jett worked at Fung Capital USA and began his career at Cambridge Associates. He has also worked at Palantir Technologies, and at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe LLP, where he counseled technology start-ups. Jett holds a BA, with distinction, from Stanford University, and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
