14 JACK LEENEY Telefonica Ventures United States FERNANDO LELO DE LARREA Y DE HARO Venture Partners Mexico JIM LUSSIER Dell Ventures United States Jack serves as Portfolio Manager at Telefonica Ventures where he is a Board Observer for Eventful and Quantenna Communications and a Board Advisor for CinePapaya and Bragbet. Previously, Mr. Leeney served as an Investment Banking Associate at Morgan Stanley within the technology investment banking group in Menlo Park. While an Investment Banker, Mr. Leeney worked on 19 completed equity transactions for a total volume of $12.2 billion in capital raised with notable client work for Ancestry.com, LinkedIn, Pandora and Tesla Motors. Mr. Leeney also served as a Senior Associate at Hercules Growth Capital, with investment coverage for Box, Glam Media, IntelePeer, Hi5 Networks and Reply.com. Fernando Co-founded Venture Partners, a Mexico City-based venture fund, in 2012. Since then he has invested in companies across a variety of sectors including healthcare, financial services, mobility and e-commerce. As a relevant player in Mexico's entrepreneurial ecosystem, Fernando became one of the most important and active early- stage investors in the country. He has experience in operational and financial aspects of private equity, project finance and management of businesses in growth. Additionally, he co-founded Venture Institute, a business acceleration program, and Fondeadora, the leading crowdfunding platform in the country. Fernando has been an Endeavor Mentor since 2007. Jim is Managing Director and head of Dell Ventures. He leads Dell's private investment strategy and activities company-wide, collaborating with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs to help shape the future of IT. Prior to joining Dell, he was a general partner at Norwest Venture Partners and managed Accenture's High Technology Strategy practice for North America. ERIC MANLUNAS Wavemaker Partners United States Eric is Co-founder & Managing Partner of Wavemaker Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm headquartered in Los Angeles. Eric co-founded Wavemaker Partners in 2011 following its merger with Frontera Group, an early-stage boutique venture capital firm he founded in 2003. Eric is also Chairman of Wavemaker Labs, a Singapore-based start-up incubator he co-founded in January 2012. He is a two-time start-up entrepreneur turned venture capitalist who has a proven track record as an early investor in over 130 early-stage ventures. Eric is currently a member of the board of a number of emerging companies. Eric earned his M.B.A from Pepperdine University in 1995 and a B.S. in Communications from Florida International University in 1990.
