9 VIVIAN BARING DMGT International United Kingdom ROBERT ANDERSON FTV Capital United States NIKHIL BASU TRIVEDI Shasta Ventures United States CENK BAYRAKDAR Revo Capital Turkey Vivian Baring started working for his family business DMGT in 1981 originally with Northcliffe Newspapers Group. Vivian then went on to become Chairman of A&N International Media, building a collection of digital businesses in nine countries in Central and Eastern Europe, concluding with a successful exit in 2012 when the Group decided to re-focus on core markets. In 2011, he became Deputy Chairman of DMGT International, looking for digital businesses that would complement existing DMGT businesses worldwide with a particular focus on Latin America. Vivian is also Founder and President of Seagrass Capital Partners, which invests in angel and early-stage digital start-up businesses in Latin America. Rob is Vice President at FTV Capital's San Francisco office. He currently has investment responsibilities in the business services, financial services and payments and transaction processing sectors. Prior to joining FTV Capital, Rob was an investment banking associate within the financial institutions group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and capital raising transactions for asset management and financial technology companies. Rob received his BA in Economics and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University. Nikhil leads early-stage consumer investments at Shasta Ventures. He has been at the firm for three years, and was previously at Insight Venture Partners. Nikhil co-founded Artsy, the online community for discovering, learning about, and collecting art, while an undergrad at Princeton University, where he received an A.B. degree and led the Princeton Entrepreneurship Club. Nikhil is a board observer at Bloc and ClassDojo in San Francisco, and Hinge and Timehop in New York City. He was named in 2015 to Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30 list for Venture Capital. Cenk is a Co-founder and the CEO of REVO Capital, a $50M VC fund focused on early/ growth technology ventures in Turkey. He has nearly 19 years of experience in the technology ecosystem of Turkey, including 13 years at Turkcell. During his time at Turkcell, he established and led numerous key initiatives influencing Turkcell's entire non-voice VAS (Value Added Services) lineup as the Chief Product / New Technology Businesses Officer. In this role, he and his team effectively developed an innovation ecosystem of 350 technology startups around Turkcell. Cenk served on the Board of Directors for Corbuss, Fizy and Turkcell Interaktif.
