She spends her day scouting for scientists working on solving the world's most pressing problems through moonshot solutions, and thinking of new ways to accelerate their progress. In her previous roles, Viola focused on nurturing the small business ecosystem by launching global programs to improve profitability of small businesses through the Internet in over 40 markets. On the side, Viola has dedicated herself to understanding the needs of developing markets and how tech businesses can scale solutions that improve the lives of billions globally. Raj is an Investment Director at Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of Intel Corporation. He brings more than twenty years of technology investment experience to Intel, where his primary investment focus is in the mobility sectors. Previously, he was an Investment Partner at Omidyar Network, where he was responsible for mobile technology investments in emerging markets. Raj has also worked at BlueStream Ventures, a $300 million technology venture capital firm which he co-founded, technology investment banking firms Thomas Weisel Partners and RBC Capital Markets, Sun Microsystems, and Lucid, a venture-funded software startup. MIKE HENNESSEY PuenteLabs United States ZACH FINKELSTEIN Lumia Capital United States Mike is currently the Executive Director of PuenteLabs, a San Francisco based organization whose mission is to identify the best Latin American companies and entrepreneurs and help them scale their businesses by leveraging Silicon Valley networks and best practices. Mike has invested in 25+ early stage technology companies in the US and Latin America and is an LP in several venture funds. He has also been a mentor or advisor to various organizations in Latin America including Endeavor, NXTP Labs, 21212, Soc.Atom, Naranya Labs, InnPulsa, StartUp Chile, Chile Global Angels, and others. Prior to investing, Mike worked in enterprise sales at Oracle Corp, Inktomi, and Pegasystems. Zachary joined Lumia Capital as an Associate in 2012. Prior to Lumia, Zachary was an investment banker with Citi's Global Technology, Media and Telecom group. At Citi, Zachary provided critical strategic advice, market insight and valuation expertise to companies across the telecom and media landscape, including but not limited to, AT&T, Comcast/ NBCU, Time Warner, Verizon and Web MD. Previously, Zachary worked in the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he was tasked with monitoring and analyzing financial markets for key U.S. policy makers.
