2 IMPACT. Amazing how a short word can pack so much into it. At Endeavor, we always have been big believers in speaking about and measur- ing impact. We published our first Impact Report, in lieu of a traditional Annual Report, in 1999. But while we have regularly talked about impact, we have never defined it as a static achieve- ment. For us, impact is an ongoing, living thing. It's not merely about where we are today, but also where we hope to be in the future. Endeavor began with a goal of sup- porting high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging economies to achieve their dreams, by scaling up their businesses to create jobs and generate revenue that contributes to a bigger GDP for all. is year, I'm pleased to report those key metrics are up once again: Endeavor Entrepreneurs now employ over 500,000 people and collectively generated $7.7 billion in 2014 revenues. Behind those metrics are a number of key milestones we reached this past year and discussed in this year's report, including: Selection of our thousandth entrepreneur(s); Reaching a milestone of 500,000 jobs; e launch of four new locations for Endeavor; e successful close of Endeavor Catalyst I; e significant exit of one of our Endeavor Turkey businesses; Accepting the 2015 Kravis Award for Nonprofit Leadership. While these milestones are cause for celebration, I continue to remind myself and our team that they are just points along a journey that began nearly twenty years ago, and we still have a long way to go! Five hundred thousand jobs created is wonderful; that means two million is attainable. Twenty-five countries is a nice round number; we can expand to more. We are just getting going. Endeavor and the high-impact entre- preneurs we support and nurture have the potential to make an even bigger difference going forward, in more coun- tries, cities and communities around the world. I hope you will join us as we continue on this journey of creating an ever greater impact. LINDA ROTTENBERG Co-Founder & CEO Endeavor
