36 36 GIVE BACK Endeavor was founded as an organi- zation of, by and for entrepreneurs. By giving back in different ways, Endeavor Entrepreneurs expand the impact of the network. In support of Endeavor's long-term goal of sustainability, Endeavor Entrepreneurs are expected to give the organization an annual service fee and, in the event of an acquisition, are asked to donate 2% of their personal equity to the organization. In 2015, Endeavor Entrepreneurs gave back in a number of meaningful ways to the organization. Across all of its local offices, Endeavor has instituted give-back programs to encourage entrepreneurs to support the organization's work and on- going growth. Jordan's ZAFER YOUNIS and Colombia's ALEX TORRENEGRA and TANIA ZAPATA volunteered their time to speak at the 2015 Kravis Prize ceremony, where Endeavor was being honored. The entrepreneurs shared their experiences with students and reiter- ated the importance of Endeavor's work. YEMEKSEPETI made headlines around the world after sharing $27 million worth of bonuses with more than 100 employees, recognizing their roles in building the com- pany. Nevzat Aydın (right), co-founder and CEO, also joined the board of Endeavor Turkey. Egypt's AMR SHADY, founder of TA Telecom, leveraged his media expertise to support Endeavor Egypt's redesign of their website and digital strategy. Two Endeavor Entrepreneurs— K ARINA VON BAER and JORGE NAZER — joined the board of Endeavor Chile, making them the first entrepreneurs to do so locally. See p. 76 for the list of Endeavor Entrepreneurs who've committed to Give-Back programs.
